LEAP TO BLUE: Opportunities and Services for the SMEs in the Blue Economy

The regional workshop “LEAP TO BLUE: Opportunities and Services for SMEs in the Blue Economy” will take place on 15 January 2026, at the main campus of the University of Trieste.

The event is designed to introduce the LEAP TO BLUE project, with a focus on its main pillars, thematic domains, and the voucher scheme aimed at supporting small and medium-sized enterprises operating in the blue economy.

The workshop will also create an open space for dialogue and exchange between SMEs and potential service providers. Participants will have the opportunity to engage through a Q&A session and a round table discussion dedicated to upskilling, reskilling, and key competences needed in the blue economy.

The event will conclude with a networking aperitif, offering participants the opportunity to connect, share experiences, and explore potential collaborations in an informal setting. The workshop will be held in Italian with the possibility of simultaneous translation for non-Italian participants.

Il workshop regionale “LEAP TO BLUE: Opportunità e servizi per le PMI dell’Economia Blu” si terrà il 15 gennaio 2026 presso il campus principale dell’Università degli Studi di Trieste.

L’evento è concepito per presentare il progetto LEAP TO BLUE, con particolare attenzione ai suoi pilastri principali, agli ambiti tematici e allo schema di voucher volto a sostenere le piccole e medie imprese operanti nell’economia blu.

Il workshop offrirà inoltre uno spazio aperto di dialogo e confronto tra le PMI e i potenziali fornitori di servizi. I partecipanti avranno l’opportunità di intervenire attraverso una sessione di domande e risposte e una tavola rotonda dedicata a formazione e competenze chiave nell’economia blu.

L’evento si concluderà con un aperitivo di networking, pensato per favorire lo scambio di contatti e l’esplorazione di possibili collaborazioni in un contesto informale. L’evento si terrà in italiano con la possibilità di traduzione simultanea per partecipanti di lingua non italiana.
