At Innovamare, we’re developing cutting-edge autonomous maritime systems using AI and sensor technologies. We’re currently looking for a Junior Developer in Computer Vision & Artificial Intelligence to join our growing team.

Job summary:

You’ll work on building and training computer vision models for real-time object detection at sea using camera and sensor data. This is a hands-on opportunity to work on real-world AI applications in the maritime domain.

Key responsibilities:

  • collecting and annotating video data
  • developing object detection models (YOLO, Detectron, etc.)
  • extracting vessel size, speed, and other parameters from visual input
  • testing, optimizing, and deploying trained models

Requirements:

  • solid Python programming experience
  • familiarity with computer vision libraries (OpenCV, scikit-image)
  • understanding of object detection models and AI training workflows
  • knowledge of data tools (SQL, pandas); C++ or microcontrollers a plus
  • eagerness to learn and work in a fast-moving, startup-style team
