The project DIH InnovaMare has started

The DIH InnovaMare project, also known as “Cross-border digital innovation Hub for innovative Marine technology”, is co-financed from the European Fund for Regional Development within the cross-border cooperation program Italy – Croatia 2021-2027. The project Lead Partner is the Croatian Chamber of
Economy.

The total value of the project is €1,6 mil. The planned duration of the project implementation is 30 months, and the project will be implemented in the period from February 1, 2024 to July 31, 2026.

The partner consortium, with the Croatian Chamber of Economy as the Lead Partner consists of eight project partners: Ruđer Bošković Institute, Šibenik-Knin County, University of Zadar, from Croatia and the Union of Chambers of Commerce of the Veneto Region, ARTI Regional Agency for Technology and Innovation, National Research Council of Italy, Wireless and More srl, from Italy and four Associated Organizations: Croatian Agency for Small Business, Innovation and Investments (HAMAG-BICRO) from Croatia and University of Padua, Ports of Venice and Chioggia and Veneto Innovazione S.p.A. from Italy.

DIH InnovaMare objective is to become leader on cross-border and EU levels in strengthening research capacities and promoting technology transfer for development of innovative marine technologies that will enable digital and green transformation for ustainable blue economy and Adriatic Sea. DIH InnovaMare will convert data, knowledge and resources in its ecosystem in services that will enable transition of knowledge and technology from scientific research institutions to private sector.

The activities of the DIH InnovaMare project will contribute to the realization of the project results, such as the built innovation capacities for the implementation of maritime technologies in the sectors of the blue economy, the developed pilot program for the cross-border mobility of researchers for applied research and cooperation in the blue economy, the implementation of joint pilot actions and the development of new maritime technologies for the needs of emerging markets and developed new innovative concepts for solutions to challenges in the blue economy.

We are pleased to announce that on 29.2. and 1.3.2024., will be held a Kick-off meeting of project DIH InnovaMare in Šibenik, organized by the Croatian Chamber of Economy, where the partner consortium will present the project and its activities and support the important start of the project.
